The nearby coastal towns of Argeles and St. Cyprien offer all the usual coastal facilities; shops, restaurants, bars and over 3 miles of wide sandy beach flanked by a flat promenade walk. A visit to Collioure, an historic picturesque coastal fishing village is a must on the agenda. Shooting, hunting, fishing and golf are also available in the region.
The numerous local vineyards produce excellent wines which can be sampled before you buy. Early summer fruits, especially the cherries are in abundance, and various local cheeses and honey are on sale in all the markets and farms.
